First Capital Fife and Drum Corps!

On January 31st
FC traveled to Conestoga Valley to debut their 2015 production beyond Baroque. One judge proclaimed that
"this show is gonna raise the roof"
Our own Ethan Miller was the first ever participant and 1st place winner in the KIDA independent solo competition! Ethan composed and performed this solo at Mechanicsburg H.S.on March 14th. Super proud of this guy!
Later in the day the entire group made the trip to Governor Thomas Johnson HS where the group improved their score by 10 points!
FC Traveled to Hagerstown Md on 3/21 and has best performance of the season! Despite a chilly morning warm-up the group heated up fast to earn their highest score of the season so for!

A contingent of FC drummers helped bring in the colors at the National Day of Prayer event on May 7th. Thanks for using your talents to support your community and representing FC. Season 7 underway with Largest and most talented group to date
First Capital Drumline brought the house down with a rousing performance of “Can-O-Saurus,” and ultimately took first place at Paw Search, a talent and variety show sponsored by Penn State York Benefiting THON on Friday, Jan. 20 in the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center.
FC nailed their first performance of 2017
at Waynesboro HS on February 25th!

3/11/17 Ten of First Capital's finest earn medals at I&E event
First Capital Independent Drumline shared the stage with some of the world’s finest drum and bugle corps. The Hawthorne Caballeros, Reading Buccaneers and Connecticut Hurricanes we’re just a few of the Alumni corps on hand at the sold out show. The Hanover Lancers host the annual show at the Pullo Center for the Performing Arts on the Campus of Penn State York. First Capital received a rousing ovation and an invitation to return in 2018!

Several members of FC had the opportunity to perform with the Greater York Center for Dance Education
in their production of the "Hip Nut" at the Appell Center in York!
October 2018 First Capital Begins Season 8 with one of the largest and most talented turnouts yet!
March 10th FC started a new chapter in their 8 year history today. Adding a complete visual program, guard and all the logistics that go with it. Not to mention doing it with one, three our weekly rehearsal with close to 60 members! No frills, no acting, no costumes, just great drumming (and lots of other percussion instruments...some not so percussive, and flags!) performing their hearts out!
